The Energy Application is part of the Analytics package.

Its lets us understand the energy Consumption of Individual Buildings and estates of Buildings.

We can normalize data for weather and building size, so we can compare and rank different buildings. We can relate to earlier periods, this year against last, to see how consumption is changing and quantify savings.

Regression and correlation Analysis lets us normalize the energy pattern over shorter periods. This is a powerful tool to account for energy consumption and measure the effectiveness of energy savings measures and programs.

Data can be received from many sources – from the Utility using Green Button format or CSV files, automatically collected from sub meters connected to the Buildings Systems or the InferStack™ devices, manually collected data written into a spreadsheet or extracted from the monthly bills.

The more frequent the measurements, the more information we can extract from the data so monthly bills will be less useful than high frequency half hourly data automatically captured.
